Lindsay Exline is a new addition to the practice and brings with her 6 years of dermatology experience.

She was born in Binghamton, NY, but recently moved to the St. Louis area from Newark, NJ. She attended LeMoyne College, Syracuse, NY and graduated summa cum lauds as a biology and chemistry major in 2001. She completed her Physician Assistant studies, also at LeMoyne
College, in 2004.

Lindsay is a board certified physician assistant by the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatological Physician Assistants, New Jersey State society of Physician Assistants, and Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants. She has been practicing general and surgical dermatology, in both adults and children, for the past 6 years. When not working, Lindsay enjoys spending her time with her husband and dog, traveling and sports.

Brooke N. Shadel, MD, PhD, MPH

Dr. Shadel joined Dermatological Care in 2012. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended the University of Kansas and defended her Master of Public Health Thesis with honors. Dr. Shadel earned her Ph.D. and M.D. degrees from Saint Louis University and was elected into and the Delta Omega National Honor Public Health Society in 2000 and the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society in 2006. She completed her dermatology residency at Saint Louis University Hospital. Dr. Shadel is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the St. Louis Dermatological Society and the St. Louis Dermatology Journal Club. She practices general dermatology and welcomes patients of all ages. Dr. Shadel also surgically removes benign skin lesions and skin cancers.

Lawrence L. Wang, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Lawrence Wang joined Dermatological Care in 2005. He was born in Boston, MA and raised in Columbia, MO where he grew up a fan of the Missouri Tigers. He attended Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude as a biochemistry major in 1993. Dr. Wang earned his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Washington University School of Medicine in 2001. His Ph.D. thesis studied the role of inhibitory receptors on natural killer cells. He then completed his dermatology residency at Washington University and Barnes Hospital before joining Dermatological Care.
Dr. Wang is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Dermatology at Washington University. He practices general dermatology and treats most skin conditions and growths in adults and children. Dr. Wang also surgically removes benign skin lesions and skin cancers. When he is not practicing dermatology, Dr. Wang spends time with his wife and three boys (10, 6, 2) and enjoys all kinds of sports, including ultimate frisbee. He is also an avid runner and recently qualified to run the Boston Marathon.
